ADDING NEW ACCOUNT IN BEGINNING BALANCES

Enter a new account in the chart of accounts in Beginning Balance:
Enter the new account I.D.
Enter a description of the account.
Select a type for the account
Click save button



Deleting an account

To delete an account you need to open that account in the Maintain Chart of Accounts
Click Chart of Accounts icon and select New Account from the drop down menu
 Maintain Chart of Accounts window will appear where you can enter the Account ID of the account
And delete the account
You can to modify or delete the account and press ok








Customers default information…….. Peachtree

First open the Peach-tree set-up, in this you click the option of maintain, press default information and then press customers...



The customer default window will appeared. In this you can build all your customer records. In this window there are many options like payment terms, account aging, custom field, finance charges and pay methods.


Payment term is used for customers recording. Select one of these to tell you the mode of payment.

Net due:  Enter number of days
Discount in:  Enter the number of days if payment is made before the date in which you allow customer to get discount.
Discount the payment is made within the discount days
Credit Limit, It is the total amount of credit
G/L: Accounts tells the sales income
Discount G/L account enter the sales discount




Aging is the range of days and column headings for the accounts




Custom fields are used to enter the information about the customers. It can change the  names of accounts 
according to your choice 


Finance charge is used to enter the charges required to charge on overdue amount by the customers and then click OK

Customer’s prospects in peach tree


First open the peach tree software then click the maintain menu. A drop down menu will appear then click the customer prospects 


A window will appear like this









In General Tab we fill the customer id
Name of the customer, address country, customer type ETC




In Sales default we can records the customers sales and select the G/L account from charts of accounts






In Payments default, we records the credit payments for the customers and its credit card numbers




In custom field, if we can any change in default menu , a custom field is shown here



In history we can write the invoices date, amount, last payments date and its amount of the sales and click the save button ....

In this window will fill the vendor id, invoice number amount , date , pay to the order and then fill the quantity , items , description G/l amount unit price and amount Click the save button. In this way we payments the creditors and vendors

First open the peach tree then click the task menu. A drop down menu will appear then we will click on the general entry.

In this we select the date and fill the reference number and description of the transaction and G/L account then click the save button 

Credit memo … sales return


First open the peach tree software for maintain sales return credit memo .click to the task menu a drop down menu will appear then  click the credit memo  




A window will appear like this 




 In which we fill the customer id then fill the date , credit number, quantity , goods quantity , unit price and amount and description and click the save button.

How to assemble inventory in Peachtree


 First open the peach tree software, and then click on task menu. A drop down menu will appear like this


 

Then we will click on the Assemblies. A window will appear.



In which we enter the

Item id, name, reference number, date
Quantity on hand and enter the quantity to build and new quantity which you want to assembles the stock and enter the reason to build and then click to save button

Peach -tree Globe Option

Peach -tree Globe Option 

After opening a window we will click on option menu a drop down menu will open. We click on globe option.





While clicking the Globe window will appear like this 



In this window we will edit and change the setting by default setting. There are different option like 

Accounting

General

Peach tree partners and Spelling



In Accounting tab we want to enter in decimal entry by manual and automatic  and hide general ledger account . This window also provide others options.



In this general tab we improve performances by changing settings and change the line items, smart data and color schemes.



Peach-tree partners are the part of computer accounting software


 In spelling tab, we check the spelling of the entries we enter in the software and press OK 

In this way we change the setting in Globe option

Peach-tree - Sales Quotation and Sales Order


Click the task menu a drop down menu will open then select the Quotes/sales order 







sub menu will appear select the QUOTES





The following screen will appear like this




Select the customer id of the customer from this quotation is creating
Enter the date of the quotation are issued
Fill the date on Good thru which quotation will expire
Fill the reference number in Quotes no field
Enter the customer purchase order number in Customer PO field
Select the method of delivery in ship via field
Enter the quantity of items , unit price freight field and click the save button



 Sales order

Select the Tasks menu a drop down menu will open then select Quotes/sales order 

and select the sub sales order.





the window will appear 


Enter the date of the quotation are issued

Enter the customer purchase order number in Customer PO field
Select the method of delivery in ship via field
Enter the quantity of items , unit price freight field and click the save button


sales invoicing 

To open the Sales/Invoicing click the Sales Invoicing icon. A drop down menu will appears


When we select the sales invoicing a window will appear



In this we select the customer ID , date , invoice number
Enter the quantity, items, descriptions of the sales unit price, amount of the goods
And then click to save button

Vendor credit memo ........... peach tree

                                In which we records the returns to the vendors on the purchases 


First Click the task bar menu and select the vendor credit memos



In which we enter the vendor id, date of returning goods, credit number.

When you select the vendor the term will automatically fill and then enter the account payable 


you can see that Items , quantity  and unit field will also fill automatically when we select the vendor id


We enter the items that want to return then enter the G/l account 

then click to save button

Purchase order peach tree

First open the peach tree n then press the option button , the drop down menu will open  in this we select the  view navigation aid



The window will appear like this



This we select purchase order option; the purchase order window will appear 



Window will provide information about purchase order
In this window first select the
Vendor id
and then date and invoice number ,
Purchase order number
Receivable quantity and then select inventory item and its description and then select G/L account
Select price per unit and then click save 




If there is no purchase order then select the vendor and fill the quantity, items price per unit

Purchase inventory

Select the task menu in peach tree , a drop down menu will appear like this




In this we select the purchase/ receive inventory option the window will appear





We select the inventory receivable; the purchase order window will appear




In this window first select the
Vendor id
date
invoice number ,
Purchase order number
Receivable quantity
select inventory item and its description and then select G/L account
Select price per unit and then click save
